I'm Carolyn Bagnall
Carolyn Bagnall has lived in London Ontario all of her life
but she enjoys travelling and seeing the world.
She spent many years teaching her own children through to University and
caregiving for an ailing father. Now she
has focused her attention on creating pieces of art using acrylic paints. She loves animals and depicting them in their
natural habitat. She also explores a
variety of subjects such as urban skylines and landscapes. She enjoys painting that not only give a feel
for the overall subject but details and realism are often found in many of her
works.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
Inspiration
I am inspired by looking and truly observing the world around. Many of my ideas come from simply viewing my surroundings.
Techniques
I enjoy using a variety of colours to express and communicate the objects in the painting realistically. I also am dabbling with less realistic techniques.
career highlights
I have entered a world wide art show and one of my pieces was chosen in the top 100. An am awaiting whether I will win. This piece will become the book cover for Lyndon's Fog which will published later this year. In this memoir I reflect and connect childhood memories with the journey of present Alzheimer's. My father has recently passed and I begin this new road of art.
